Shauna McAllister - Owner & maker, Albertavista
Shauna is a Métis woman originally from Alberta, Canada. She currently lives in Toronto with her husband and two cats. As the granddaughter of a residential school survivor, Shauna was not taught about her Indigenous heritage growing up. She now crafts traditional items with a contemporary twist, to help her reclaim what was lost and to connect to her diverse background.
